Important information about dining and booking with WH Pubs
Booking Terms & Conditions
Deposits & Payment
- A deposit is required for all bookings of 10 guests or more.
- Deposits can be paid by credit/debit card at the time of booking.
- Deposits will be deducted from your final bill on the day of your visit.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made within 14 days of the booking date will result in the deposit being non-refundable; however, the amount will be transferred onto a gift card for use on a future visit.
- For bookings on key dates such as Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, and Valentine's Day, cancellations made within 4 weeks of the event will incur a full non-refundable deposit.
- Gift cards issued for cancelled bookings are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
- We recommend purchasing cancellation insurance if you are concerned about potential cancellations.
Booking Modifications
- We will do our best to accommodate changes to your booking, subject to availability.
- Reductions in party size within 48 hours may result in deposit forfeiture if minimum guest requirements are no longer met.
- Increases in party size cannot be guaranteed and are subject to availability.
Dining Terms
Table Service
- Tables are reserved for 2 hours for parties of up to 6 guests, and 2.5 hours for parties of 7 or more.
- We may need your table back at the time stated when making your reservation.
- Late arrivals of more than 15 minutes may result in your table being released to other guests.
Food Service
- Last food orders are taken 30 minutes before kitchen closing time.
- Menu items are subject to availability and may change without notice.
- We cater for most dietary requirements with advance notice - please inform us when booking.
- All food is prepared in kitchens where allergens are present - please speak to a member of staff about allergen information.
General Terms
Age Restrictions
- Children are welcome until 9:00 PM when accompanied by adults.
- ID may be required for anyone who appears to be under 25 purchasing alcohol.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone unable to provide appropriate identification.
Conduct & Safety
- We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask customers to leave if they are deemed to be intoxicated or behaving inappropriately.
- No outside food or drink is permitted on the premises.
- Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises, including outdoor areas.
- We are not responsible for personal belongings left on the premises.
Liability
- WH Pubs accepts no liability for any loss, damage, or injury sustained on the premises except where required by law.
- Customers visit our premises at their own risk.
- We recommend that customers have appropriate insurance cover for their visit.
Privacy & Data
- We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Booking information is used solely for the purpose of providing our services.
- We may contact you regarding your booking via phone, email, or SMS.
Gift Card Terms & Conditions
Purchase & Validity
- Gift cards are available for purchase online and at all WH Pubs locations.
- Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
- Gift cards are redeemable at all WH Pubs locations.
- Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or used to purchase other gift cards.
Redemption
- The gift card holder must present the gift card (physical or digital code) at the time of payment.
- If the purchase exceeds the gift card value, the balance must be paid using another payment method.
- If the purchase is less than the gift card value, the remaining balance stays on the card for future use.
- Gift card balances can be checked online at whpubs.co.uk or by contacting any of our pubs.
Refunds & Cancellations
- Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Lost, stolen, or damaged gift cards cannot be replaced unless proof of purchase is provided.
- WH Pubs reserves the right to refuse redemption if fraud is suspected.
- In the event of a cancelled booking paid by deposit, you may receive a gift card in lieu of a refund (see Booking Terms above).
Digital Gift Cards
- Digital gift cards are delivered via email to the address provided at checkout.
- Delivery is typically instant but may take up to 24 hours in some cases.
- It is the purchaser's responsibility to ensure the correct email address is provided.
- WH Pubs is not liable for gift cards sent to incorrect email addresses.
Physical Gift Cards
- Physical gift cards are sent via Royal Mail and typically arrive within 3-5 working days.
- Free UK delivery is included for all physical gift card orders.
- WH Pubs is not liable for gift cards lost in transit; however, we will work to resolve any issues.
